01 / YOUR BUSINESS

Start with the essentials

Business types and NAICS code mappings. Codes may use an older NAICS edition; confirm the current classification for official use. Selection identifies your business and can inform the main pricing view when sourced industry data is available.

Enter annual net income after business expenses and taxes. Enter the salary of one working owner only if it was already deducted from that net income. Salary is added back for owner earnings (SDE), not EBITDA.

Cash flow & balance sheet

These basics let us show all three methods. Replace the example figures with your actual numbers.

After tax, capital spending and working-capital needs; before debt payments. Enter independently of earnings.

Include all cash in assets and all debt in liabilities. No second cash/debt adjustment is applied.

Advanced assumptions Multiples, growth rates & adjustments

Starting assumptions are illustrative. Review them for your business; industry selection does not set market multiples.

SDE adds back one working owner’s salary already deducted from net income. Enter each expense once.

Enter only amounts already deducted in net income. Leave personal income taxes out. These adjustments bridge net income to EBITDA; SDE also adds back the owner salary above. Review assumptions before relying on the estimate.

01

A multiple of adjusted annual earnings.

02

Five years of projected cash flow plus a terminal value.

03

Useful for asset-heavy businesses. Values are already equity values.

A useful starting point. A transparent calculation.

This screening tool uses common business valuation approaches. Industry panels show available sourced aggregate sales benchmarks. The core earnings multiples remain user assumptions; no matched local transaction dataset is used. It is intended for established operating businesses; startups, financial institutions and distressed businesses need different analysis. Negative equity is shown as calculated.

An indicative estimate is not a certified appraisal, lending decision or offer. Review the inputs and method suitability with a qualified adviser before relying on the result. Calculations run in your browser. After you submit your contact details, your submitted inputs and results are saved privately by AIBE, and the generated PDF is sent to AIBE’s server for email delivery.
