CBE Requirements

The Certified Bankability Expert® (CBE®) designation is awarded by the American Institute of Bankability Experts, Inc. to individuals who meet rigorous standards of education, applied competency, and professional integrity.
The designation recognizes mastery of Bankability®—the learned ability to intentionally structure assets, leverage capital, manage risk, and build cashflow systems that support long-term financial resilience and time freedom.
The following standards outline the requirements for certification.


Eligibility Requirements:

Bankability® Education, Character & Demonstrated Competency

● Applicants must successfully complete the Bankability® Certification Program approved by the American Institute of Bankability Experts (AIBE).

● Applicants must pass the Bankability® Certification Examination with a minimum score of 80%, demonstrating mastery of:

  • Asset structuring
  • Leverage and capital deployment
  • Cashflow systems
  • Risk and liability management
  • Tax-aware financial strategy
  • Demonstrated Credit Systems Mastery, Intentional Leverage & Proven Personal Creditworthiness

● Applicants must demonstrate good moral character, including a documented history of ethical conduct and professional integrity.

  • Applicants must provide at least three (3) professional references who can attest to their character and ethical standards.
  • AIBE reserves the right to conduct background or disciplinary reviews where appropriate.

● Applicants must maintain a minimum FICO credit score of 740.

  • A recent credit report from a recognized credit reporting agency is required.
  • Credit reports must show no material delinquencies, bankruptcies, foreclosures, or charge-offs within the past five (5) years.

● Applicants must submit at least one (1) applied Bankability® case study demonstrating the practical application of Bankability® principles in a real-world or fully modeled scenario.

● All educational results, documentation, and submissions are subject to review and approval by the AIBE Certification Committee.

Application Process:

Application Form

Complete and submit the official CBE application form, available on our website.

Supporting Documentation

Submit the required documentation to verify eligibility, including:
1. Professional references
2. Property portfolios
3. Credit report

Application Fee

Pay the non-refundable application fee of $500.

Certification Maintenance:

Continuing Education

Complete at least 20 hours of continuing education in income property management or related fields every two years.

Annual Certification Fee

Pay an annual certification fee of $200.
