The U.S. Department of Justice on Tuesday announced charges against four individuals over an alleged scheme to bribe a foreign official to buy a $800 million building complex in Vietnam.
Ban Ki Sang, a former senior executive at South Korean construction company Keangnam Enterprises Co. Ltd., allegedly plotted with his son Joo Hyun Bahn, a Manhattan real estate broker, to bribe a government official from an unnamed country in the Middle East in order to sell an $800 million building complex in Vietnam.
